Registering DLL and OCX Files

Many of the LBNL Windows & Daylighting software programs use compiled libraries (DLL and OCX files) for interface and calculation functionality. The programs will report errors if these files are:

• Missing
• Not registered

These libraries fall into two categories:

• Specific to LBNL software
• More general libraries (that may be shared by other programs) are usually located in the computer's operating system directories, and depend on the type of system:
