Electric Resistance Heating Does Not Work

In the RESFEN5 installation package dated 5/18/2005, the program displayed a choice for Electric Resistance Heating in the HVAC Types pulldown list. This choice is not functional, and will result in a simulation error. Therefore, if you have this version, do not select the Electric Resistance heating type. (In the RESFEN5 installation packages dated 8/26/2005 and 9/20/2005, this choice has been removed from the program.) For an approximate method for estimating electric resistance heating energy consumption, see the topic "How to Model Electric Resistance Heating". This feature will not be added to the program for some time.
