THERM 5.2.10 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| 1275 | Fixed problem where program would crash if a glazing system was inserted to replace an existing glazing system, and no other polygons were present in the file. |
| 1276 | Implemented the ASTM SI-10 conversion units for converting from SI (WINDOW5's native units) to IP. |
THERM 5.2.09 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| 1265 | Fixed problem where materials became undefined and the interior glazing system BC became adiabatic after the orginal file (skylight sill.thm) was closed after doing a "Save As" to another file name from it. |
| 1268 | Fixed problem with "Project in Glass Plane" frame dimension calculations |
| 1269 | Fixed problem where boundary conditions at the top of the glazing system are not adiabatic anymore. The one on the top of the outer pane is the exterior glzsys condition and the one on the inner pane is the interior glzsys condition. |
| 1270 | Fixed program crash where frame cavity was next to glazing system cavity |
| 1271 | Fixed problem where
program still not picking up the right glazing system emissivities for all multiple glazing options. |
THERM 5.2.08 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| 1259 | Fixed problem where program is not picking up the emissivity (0.04) of the glass (surface 3) in the frame cavity that is next to it. |
| 1260 | Fixed problem where BCs became adiabatic |
| 1261 | Fixed problem where program was deforming spacer polygons to try to make the glazing system fit, even when the system wouldn't fit |
| 1263 | Expanded the Emissivity field in the Glazing System Info dialog box as well as when you double click on a boundary condition, so that they are both showing 3 significant digits and can be easily compared |
| 1266 | For Projected in the Glass projected frame dimensions, changed how the rotation was defined so that glass facing up and down is shown as 90, tilted skylights will show 20 |
THERM 5.2.07 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| Splash screen changes added |
THERM 5.2.06 Fixes:
(INTERNAL NFRC SOFTWARE TASK GROUP REVIEW VERSION
DISTRIBUTED)
| Bug # | Description |
| 1253 | Fixed problem with open end of glazing system cavity emissivity -- was being set to 0.9, is not being set to 1.0 |
| 1255 | Added ability for users to delete protected records from the Material Library |
THERM 5.2.05 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description | ||||
| 1250 | Fixed another problem with the precision of numbers in THERM, where in the Boundary condition library -10 Celsius would display as -9.9999 | ||||
| 1257 | There are 2 new options for the projected dimension for U-factors:
If there is a glazing system in the THERM file, Projected in Glass Plane is now the default. This allows you to rotate the glazing system without changing the U-factor, other than artifacts of the mesh since the mesh works on a 90 degree grid. Custom Rotation allows you to project the U-factor lengths onto an arbitrary angle from vertical. This currently requires a recalculation to update the results |
THERM 5.2.04 Fixes:
(INTERNAL NFRC SOFTWARE TASK GROUP REVIEW VERSION
DISTRIBUTED)
| Bug # | Description |
| 1248 | Fixed problem that in the Material Library, when you are in SI units, and enter a value such as 0.9 in the emissivity field, the program displays 0.899 |
THERM 5.2.03 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| 1144 | Fixed some of the CI on/off logic: if the cross section type is set to one that shouldn't be modeling CI (and you turn CI on in THERM file options preferences), such as Jamb, the program says it can't do CI for it when it tries to simulate it. The CI bcs inside the glazing system are still displayed. Then if you change the cross section type to one that can be modeled with CI, such as Sill, and calc the file, the program still displays the CI bcs inside the glazing system, but it only calculates the u-factor, not the CI -- if you go to the THERM File Options preferences tab, CI is unchecked. Checking it will of course fix the problem but we should make the program smarter if possible. Fix: when a CR run is attempted on a jamb, it justs warns that the file won't be simulated and no longer turns off CR, forcing the user to do that- avoids confusion with CR glazing cavity BC's. |
| 1244 | Fixed an intermittent problem with the program not putting the NFRC Exterior film coefficient onto the exterior surface of some of the multiple options cases |
| 1247 | Fixed problem where deleting the last polygon in a file would crash the program if boundary conditions are defined. |
THERM 5.2.02 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| 1235 | Added a new column to the frame cavity section of the report to show the Cavity Height for the case of jambs, vertical meeting rails and dividers. |
| 1236 | Fixed "Scribble error" crash that several people reported, mostly with XP. |
| 1237 | When you double click on the IG, changed Actual Height to what we now call CR Cavity Height in the Glazing System Info dialog box. |
| 1238 | Fixed problem where jamb files with CR set to on would not run in the calculation manager because they stop and wait for an input, ie, a dialog box comes up and says that Jamb cavities are not compatible with CR calculations, and you have to click the OK box. IThis message now gets written into the log. |
| 1240 | Fixed problem where
multiglazing option file option #3 crashes THERM (at error estimator).
Also fixed problem where options 2 and 3 have a lowe coating on surface 2 and the program didn't pick this up in the multiple glazing runs. |
| 1241 | Fixed problem where THERM 5 slowed down (and finally crashed) as it was used over time (due to a resource memory leak). This is related to #1236. |
| 1243 | Fixed problem where in CI runs the top and bottom emissivities were not being set properly by the program. |
| 1228 | Fixed problem when doing a Radiation Enclosure by hand (not the standard case with NFRC simulations). With the Radiation Enclosure polygon, the program reported overlapping polygons when doing BCs. |
THERM 5.2.01 Fixes:
| Bug # | Description |
| Multiple glazing runs pick up the correct emissivities for glazing surfaces | |
| Multiple glazing runs won't simulate a glazing option if the glazing system resulst are not current | |
| Clicking the Update button in the Glazing System Info dialog box will update all glazing systems if it is defined with multiple glazing options | |
| Old THERM files no longer load the ID in the emissivity field of the Glazing System Info dialog box | |
| Added the calc version and version information | |
| Fixed crash caused by deleting BC's with only a glazing system |
