Window Surface Temperature Distributions DATA SETS from a technical paper presented at the ASHRAE 1996 summer meeting with the title ìSurface Temperatures of Insulated Glazing Units: Infrared Thermography Laboratory Measurements.î ASHRAE Transactions 1996, V. 102 Pt. 2. The following data sets provide data values used to generate the graphs shown in Figures 4 through 10. See table 1 in the paper for an explantion of glazing types and designations. Both vertical and horizontal distribution are provided. Vertical Data sets appear first, followed by horizontal data sets. Data sets consists of pairs of values where the first is the temperature (Degrees C) and the second is the location (millimeters from a sightline). Uncertainty in temperature values is estimated at +/- 0.5C. Uncertainty in location values is estimated at +/- 3.7 mm. Environmental conditions are listed at the top of the data sets for each glazing as well as in Table 3 in paper. Vertical distributions are along the centerline and extend from the bottom to the top. Location values are in mm. from the sill sightline. The sill sightline corresponds to 0 mm. The head sightline corresponds to 483 mm. Horizontal distributions are along the centerline and extend from the left jamb to the middle of the glazing. Location values are in mm. from the jamb sightline. The sill corresponds to 0 mm.
