International Glazing Database
Detailed Update Instructions
- Save Data and Quit Other
Programs:
this is always good practice when
installing updates.
- Download and Extract Package:
Download the file "IGDB Update 13.0.exe" by
clicking the link below. This will extract two new files, named "IGDB
Update.mdb"
and "Update Wizard.exe". The
default folder where the files are extracted is
"c:\IGDB Update Wizard". - Update IGDB (Optics5
Only): Run the file "Update
Wizard.exe" to start the update
process. When the update is finished, you may remove the temporary
directory including the 2 extracted files.
Note: If the update fails, your original database will
not be modified.
Update pack 13.0 will upgrade IGDB
12.7 or
higher used by Optics5 (versions 5.1.00 and higher) to
version number 13.0.
You can also use the database in
this update pack to add new files to the WINDOW 5.1 glass library by
following the instructions
provided with WINDOW 5.1.
You cannot update previous
versions of the IGDB database (12.2 or lower) because the format has
changed - first update your Optics
program installation to the latest version which includes the new
database format.
